Music is something you have for a lifetime.
— Victoria Rosenberg

I've been sharing my love of piano by teaching students for over 30 years at my home in Rockville Centre, NY.

It all started when I was growing up in Flushing Queens and began studying with Mrs Harper from Queens Church on the Hill.  She taught me the fundamentals of site reading, music theory and performance so that I could play classical music for my family & friends.  I continued to study under Mr. Weinstein from Queens High School and continued with Mr. Davis at Ladycliff College who was part of the West Point Academy faculty.   Later I earned my Masters in Education at CW Post. Most recently, I've been challenging myself by taking lessons from Steve Mann who is part of the faculty at Manhattan School of Music.

I believe in private lessons because every student has different needs.  My teaching style is to work with each student at their own pace and to match them with the music they love. My students learn music from Bach & Beethoven to Beyonce & Adele!

Parents like how I teach dexterity, concentration and discipline by encouraging my students to enter the annual NYSSMA competition where they've achieved top scores. Everyone also loves to attend my annual Fathers Day recital where all of my students perform for their families.

Children as young as 5 are ready for lessons if they want to play their favorite song and don't get enough piano at school. Many of my High School age students are even joining bands with their friends and want to learn more music theory to write their own music.
